How to choose a mirror

  1. Size it to the vanity

A mirror usually looks settled when it is no wider than the vanity beneath it. Measure the vanity and the wall above it, including anything mounted beside it.

  2. Plan the mounting height

Measure from the vanity top to the ceiling and allow for the faucet and any light fixture. Mark the centre line of the vanity before you hang it.

  3. Check the power for an LED mirror

An LED mirror needs power at the wall. Where the outlet or the junction box sits matters; a licensed electrician should confirm the connection.

General guidance only. Nothing on this page confirms that a product fits your bathroom: confirm with your installer.

Questions

What is the difference between an LED and a framed mirror?

An LED mirror has built-in lighting and needs power. A framed mirror has no electrics. Each product page lists the type and the stated size.

Are the listed sizes exact?

They are the sizes the manufacturer lists. GLASSCORE has not measured them; check your wall before you order.

Does the “Will it fit?” check confirm that a mirror fits?

No. It compares the stated width with the wall width you enter. Fixtures, outlets and the mounting height still need checking.
