How to choose a bathtub

Measure the room
Measure the length and width of the space, and the path the tub has to travel through doors and hallways to get there.
Find the drain
Note where the drain is and which end of the tub it needs to be under. Some tubs are made for a left or right drain; the product page says when it is stated.
Check the floor
A filled bathtub is heavy. Ask your installer or a contractor to confirm the floor before you order.
